Able and CTR - racing to victory
In 2011, Able continue their sponsorship of the CTR sidecar racing team. Craig Chaplow (driver) and Patrick Farrance (passenger) are competing in both the British F1 Championship and the Superside World Championship series held as part of the MotoGP in Germany in July. Team principal Craig Chaplow explained how important the Superside Championship has become, with races taking place at circuits throughout Europe and watched by millions on TV. “The inclusion of Able as team sponsor is a great boost for the team.”
The season has started well with CTR Racing returning home with a superb top ten finish in the first race of the Eastern Airways British Formula 1 Sidecar Championship held at a sun soaked Brands Hatch Circuit in April. This initial success so early in the season has left them hungry for more and as Craig explained ‘…if we can build on this then we are in with a great chance of lifting a title.”
