Linerless labels – Print, Stick and Go !
Ap1300 and Ap1310 series high speed mini printers can now be used to print removable and permanent self adhesive labels offering simplicity, efficiency and increased productivity. There is no backing paper or restriction on length of the label. The operator can simply print the label, stick and go!
In order to meet the requirements of all our customers the linerless label is available in a choice of paper stock and level of adhesive depending on the application.
Premium or heavy duty stock
Both are highly sensitive to ensure clear and accurate images. They are specially coasted to ensure optimum protection against ultra violet light, oils, moisture and heat.
Our standard paper is 3mils thick. Heavy duty paper, 3.4mils thick, is available by special order for added durability making it perfect for applications with demanding environmental conditions.
Removable or permanent adhesive
Both are highly versatile for use on a wide variety of surfaces and broad temperature and humidity ranges. The Removable adhesive is particularly successful for applications involving high temperatures and the sticky roll can be re-stuck literally hundreds of times (provided the surface is clean). For completely permanent fixing, use the Permanent adhesive, which maintains excellent bond to curved or irregular surfaces.
Improve efficiency and reduce costs
With up to 60% more labels per roll, not only is the cost per label significantly reduced, but also fewer roll changes are required.
Fewer rolls also means reduced storage requirements and lower shipping costs.
Durable, environmentally friendly and safe
The release coating on the surface of the label acts as a barrier to ultra violet light, moisture, abrasion and other harmful environmental factors. There is no linear waste to dispose of, therefore the hazard of slippery waste on the warehouse, office or hospital floor is eliminated.
Versatile
The linerless label has a number of options which further increase its versatility. For example:
| • | It can be printed and cut to any length to suit individual requirements. |
| • | Perforated stock is available by special order which allows the printer to recognise the black mark on a pre-perforated label so printing stops at a given range or length. |
| • | It is available in virtually any colour with or without perforations. |
Linerless labels are available in kits as follows:
ASL part no. A05836RLRKIT for use with the Ap1300 printer: 58mm wide and approximately 8.5m long. 18 rolls and one cleaning kit.
ASL part no. A05855RLRKIT for use with the Ap1310 printer: 58mm wide and approximately 24.4m long. 8 rolls and one cleaning kit.
