Print mechanisms for space restricted applications
New to Able Systems' product range is APS's CP205RS series of thermal print mechanisms. Only two inches long, the mechanisms come complete with built-in RS232 serial interface, making them ideal for applications where space is restricted.
There are three mechanisms available in the series, each one easy to integrate into existing systems. The units feature automatic paper loading and can print 384 dots per line. Measuring just 80mm x 47mm x 16mm they are designed to take 58mm wide paper and allow easy access to the print head for cleaning and maintenance
The CP205RS has a print speed of up to 50mm per second and can be used for 10 column, 21 column or 42 column printing. With an additional bar code printing facility, the CP205MRS offers the same character size settings but also provides partial or full label detection and an optional cutter. For more advanced applications the CP205HRS also has 3 international character sets and can print 27 columns, 38 or 48 columns. This printer also offers ESC/PoS compatibility.
With low energy consumption, all of the products are highly economical to run.
