The printer is now available in various models, including 24 and 42 column versions, and a host of accessories can be purchased to adapt the printer to specific needs. For mobile applications, a portable version of the Ap800 incorporates a re-chargeable battery pack. Spare packs may be purchased individually as backup power supplies to enable continuous usage. | Various combinations of cable can be supplied with the printer to enable data and power transmission. OEM versions can also be supplied to provide a low cost, overall solution to printing needs. For in-vehicle applications, a 3 piece metal bracket enables the portable Ap800 to be securely affixed to a vehicle dash board. The printer can be easily clipped on and off for security and maintenance purposes. For the more aesthetically demanding applications, Able Systems printers can be moulded to an exact customer colour specification.
