	Able Systems expand its thermal printer portfolio.
Able Systems, the portable and panel mounting printer specialist, has announced a new distribution alliance with printer manufacturer Printek Inc. manufacturer of PrintekMobile printers. This strategic agreement will help Able Systems to broaden its compact printer offering to new and existing customers throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East. The deal follows extensive customer research which identified a need in the marketplace. The alliance allows Able Systems, who designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of 2" printers to add 3" and 4" print capabilities to its portfolio. PrintekMobile printers offer affordable and reliable mobile printing for a variety of applications and can reduce battery costs by up to 50% through superior power management. Able Systems is to develop new channels to market via Value Added Resellers and Systems Integrators for which it is increasingly important to offer a wider range of print widths, power options and communications options. Suitable vertical markets for these printers include warehouse management systems, supply chain solutions, logistics, field service systems and parking & law enforcement amongst others.
