The new CP424MRS 24V thermal printer with integrated control board includes Centronics parallel and RS232 serial communications into a compact outline for 4" (114mm) paper rolls. What's more, the overall height of the assembled mechanism and control board is just 27mm. Outside dimensions are W156mm x D55mm x H27mm. Applications for the CP424MRS include gaming, medical, kiosk and ATMs as well as retail systems such as security tagging, labelling and PoS equipment. Powerful software features include an extensive character set and powerful text modes such as 180 printing as well as double and quadruple width and height printing. Additional support for 10 bar code standards and superb graphics facilities ensure outstanding performance in demanding banking and retail environments. Fully hot pluggable, with a built in converter to supply the 5V logic and printing head from a single 24V supply, communication via the Centronics parallel port or RS232 serial port can be selected automatically after the first character is received. The CP424MRS also includes a self-test mode, auto paper loading, and allows external control of print characteristics via the Centronics or RS232 port. This proprietary product is also available without the integrated control board where the advanced nature of the mechanism can meet 100mm/second print speeds for use in gaming and ATM machines.
