	Fast and compact bucket printer has easy loading
A new compact bucket printer range that offers very easy paper loading and a high print speed has been added to Able Systems' range. The EPM 200 series features an integral control board to deliver 'plug and play' capabilities, allowing designers to reduce time to market. Operating at print speed of up to 85mm/s, and using a 58mm (2") paper width, the new printers have an integrated paper bucket to make loading very simple. Depending on the model, the thermal head operates at a voltage range of 3V to 26.5V and from a power supply of 5 or 24V. To conserve power there is also a zero power or 'sleep mode' with auto wake-up when data is received. Typical applications for the EPM 200 family include: mobile ticketing, point of sale, hand-held terminals, billing, petrol pumps, in-vehicle receipting, weighing, measuring instrumentation and medical systems. The printers can print in five graphic modes, offer ten types of barcodes, and feature three resident character sets. Additional character sets can be downloaded. Printer dimensions are 79 x 96 x 60mm and unit weight is 130g including a full paper roll. The printhead prints 384 dots per line at eight resolutions, from eight to 48 characters per line. Printing width is 48mm. Interface options comprise RS-232 and Centronics. A complete range of WindowsTM drivers are available. contact@able-systems.com
