RoHS and WEEE compliance

RoHS statement

Able Systems Limited complies fully with the RoHS Directive of the European Union (2002/95/EC).

The RoHS Directive “restrict(s) the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.” In effect, electrical and electronic equipment  manufactured after July 2006 can contain only agreed levels of Lead (Pb), Cadmium(Hg), Mercury  (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr+6), Polybrominated Biphenyl (PBB), and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ether (PBDE).
Able confirms all of its products (where applicable) placed on the market after 1st July 2006 fully conform with the RoHS directive.  

WEEE statement

Able Systems Limited is a registered producer under UK WEEE Regulations and obligate their responsibility through Northern Compliance under a Registered Producer Compliance Scheme WEE/UP3438PR/SCH. We are registered as B2B suppliers only (registration number WEE/GD0087VR/PRO) and operate under Regulation 9.2 of the UK WEEE legislation in that the end user is responsible for the environmentally sound disposal of WEEE.
