PC Drivers for Windows®

Windows® drivers are available for the following products:

To obtain your FREE COPY of the driver please send an email to: DriverRequest@able-systems.com specifying which operating system you are using (including 32bit or 64 bit) and including your company name and full postal address details. We will email a link to a zipped file from which you can download the Driver (the file is zipped so please indicate if this will cause a problem with your firewall/security arrangements) by return.

PDA Drivers (Pocket PC 2003SE, 2003, 2002, and 2000)

Our Ap1300 and Ap1310 series compact portable printers can be used with Pocket PC drivers for your PDA.

The drivers are available from Field Software Products and the latest release of their product (including support for Bluetooth and Infrared printers) is available for download at fieldsoftware.com.

The end-user product (PrintPocketCE) is available with a FREE 30 DAY EVALUATION. This allows the user of a PDA to print Pocket Excel spreadsheets, Pocket Word documents and Emails, as well as Pocket rich text format (RTF) and plain text (TXT) files. It works on Pocket PC 2003, 2002 and 2000.

The development kit (PrinterCE SDK) is available with a FREE 60 DAY EVALUATION and allows developers to include printing in their own applications. It works on Pocket PC 2003, 2002 and 2000 as well as Windows CE (eVB, eVC, MFC and C/C++ environments).

Software Support

A range of Software Development Kits are available across the Apple iOS and Android operating systems.

For developers and integrators, printing support is available for Bluetooth enabled models in the Able Portable Printer range.

SDK (Software Development Toolkit)

Able also provide support for developers to add our printers to your own initiatives. Our SDK consists of a java service class which handles the Bluetooth connection and can be bound to any activity in your own APP. This provides a simple solution and comes with a documented set of instructions and Printer functions.
