The Ap1200-12V is a special version of the standard Ap1200 thermal panel printer which operates from a +12V DC supply. It is not intended for automotive applications, or for operation directly from a vehicle starter battery. It consists of an Ap1200 printer with a special regulator assembly attached to the back. It differs in electrical and mechanical detail from the standard Ap1200, so please study this document carefully before installing or using the Ap1200-12V.
